if texas/OU announce intention to leave, the BiG12 would need to hurry and fill teams to replace, or watch as the remaining teams quickly search for a new home.
look for the other 3 P5 conferences to rush to add 2 more teams to compete with SEC. which will be the que to BiG12 teams being picked up and BiG12 ceasing to exist.

No way. They're the ones who want into the SEC, they need to pay their own buyouts. We don't all need to pay for Texas and Oklahoma to come here.

Iowa state, and KU are already in the B1G as I type this. The rest will end up mid major.
