That game is always talked about because of how many NFL players were in the game but most of those players didn’t do anything in the pros
Honey Badger ended being the best player overall

I'd rank their pro careers of the guys that have really made a name for themselves like this
1. Mathieu
2. Mosley
3. Odell
4. Jarvis
5. Hightower
6. Brockers
Still a bunch of guys from that game in the league, but those 6 have stood out.

McCarron has perhaps the greatest job on Earth.

The regular season or NC game? Regular season game was a defensive beat down on both sides. The NC was a LSU beat down.

That's the majority of NFL players.

Not really, you look at those FSU-Miami or FSU-Florida games back in the day and they were full of Future NFL stars

Everybody talks about Trent busting, and he did bust hard. But Mingo, Claiborne, and Milliner were all top 9 picks and busted pretty hard as well.
Claiborne and Milliner had injuries all the time and Mingo likes children.

There’s levels to this bust thing Millner was in a class of his own

Nah Claiborne takes that.
Thorpe Award winner, SEC DPOY, Cowboys traded 1st and 2nd round picks to move up to 5 and take him.
Milliner had as many INTs in his first 13 games as Claiborne had in over 40 games. He was also defensive rookie of the month.
Milliner then proceeded to tear his Achilles, wrist ligaments, hamstring, and high ankle sprain. Injuries killed his career. Claiborne has had them too but not as severe, he’s just mostly sucked dick. Probably biggest bust in Cowboys history.

Claiborne was still a starting corner for the Chiefs just 2 years ago while Millner has been out the league

Hightower got a good shot at making the HoF because he had a great career, two big plays in Super Bowl victories, and being a Patriot.

So much talent on those teams. Was insane

Mark Barron has had a good career.

We had a related discussion on here the other day, and there's a good graphic floating around somewhere that has both Alabama and LSU players shown from that game, but no one can seem to find it.
Here are some similar ones from 2011 and 2012 that list a lot of those same Alabama players:

He’s never been a pro bowler but he’s signed multiple contracts and ought to have set his family for a generation if he managed his money correctly.
I had a similar discussion about Rashan Evans and the Titans on here. He’ll undoubtedly get a 2nd contract and a chance to start somewhere. Whether he was a star or not does not really matter to anyone but fans of the team he’s on. The whole point is to get a 2nd contract and set yourself up for a lifetime. Alabama and LSU done well with that and done well with producing legit stars too. The busts get way too much discussion imo.

No doubt.
Hard to believe it's been that long, but Barron was in the NFL for eight or nine years (assuming he doesn't come back).

Mark Barron was one of the best players I have ever seen in high school. Good for him.
