And if you click on the championship results, there is no FBS. Only FCS, DivII and DivIII.
You can find a historical list of different poll types on the FBS stats page.
Which isn't recognizing anything, it's just:
"The criteria for being included in this historical list of poll selectors is that the poll be national in scope, either through distribution in newspaper, television, radio and/or computer online. The list includes both former selectors, who were instrumental in the sport of college football, and selectors who were among the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) selectors"
Then it lists the #1 for them over the years.
It's also the worst list I've ever seen on the topic, and even includes BCS era individual computers as selectors. It's just some shite an editor put on the there and certainly isn't anything "official".

So you didn’t click on the fbs record book like what you asked for?
Go back, click again then find the national champions list in the fbs record book

Well it comes from the ncaa record book for fbs and also includes polls like you described above in which Alabama uses for NC claims

You’ll have more success going outside and arguing with a brick wall than discussing this topic with NYC. He gets very triggered by this issue and always shows up in these Bama threads. As you see here, he can’t differentiate between the NCAA simply providing a list of historical polls each year as a resource, and actually crowing the champion themselves. He has those two issues mixed up in his head and considers them the same thing.

Nothing fake about that humiliation we put on your noggin in the title game in 2011.
BAMA is your Daddy, always has been, always will. History is not your friend on this one.

Yep.
Alabama is 54-26-5 all-time against LSU.

Georgia mad!.. Hear me out dogs, you have to actually win enough to get to claim titles
Posted on 7/10/21 at 9:51 am to NYCAuburn
Bama has so many titles that the actual number has become somewhat irrelevant. If you want to credit us with twelve, or eighteen, or twenty-three, or eleventy billion, it doesn't bother me much whichever you choose. The most accurate statement anyone can make about the number of NCs Alabama has is "way more than anyone else."

I told you what there was. There is an actual section for championships and it doesn't include the FBS because...the NCAA doesn't award or recognize FBS national championships.
The other resource lists polls and all that, and is not "official" in any manner.

So you think Alabama should be claiming like 23 national championships?
Alabama should claim 2016, even though it lost the playoff game to Clemson? Are you claiming that is an official NCAA national championship for Alabama?
All because the Colley Matrix computer poll put Alabama #1 and it got listed by some dumb website editor? Which is btw one of the worst computer polls out there and rarely does a good job at ranking, as you can see with the example above.
That's ridiculous.
