When players take these offers to do commercials for jays chicken tenders and then lets say they have a great season are they going to make an announcement of their cancelled partnership with Jay's chicken tenders and accepting bids from bigger companies and then end it with "respect my decision"?

I can see this creating resentment on a team. QB is getting a ton of sponsors and making cash, while the LG isn't getting sh*t and starts getting pissed/jealous. Whole new issue for coaches to have to deal with.

College football has not been an amateur sport since Bama started cheating. Believe that was right around Copernicus era.
