Even when Arkansas has had bad years they get about 14-15k people at games so Id say the support is always there no matter the team.

When we are good though you cant find a ticket anywhere.

What did TN used to average at games before their one and only Elite 8 trip?

because you have one of the best cheaters in Howland?

You had shoebox Stansbury?

The best part of the coach talking about how awful Starkville is hahaha. Been saying it the whole time on this board.

OM atleast got a new arena even if it is a little weird on the setup (feels very high school).

Richard Williams was a better coach than Stansbury.

Whip gives a crap . You have two of the best coaches in basketball and yet every season the sec falls flat on their faces in the postseason .

Tennessee has been Top 5 in attendance nationally most years going back to 2006.

2nd in attendance behind only UK in conference.

I read this when it came out a month ago and thought the Auburn portion was genuinely terrible. The rest of the blurb basically said we are cheating and yeah, didn’t even mention the hotbed of recruiting we have signed three straight first round picks from. Objectively terrible.

Recently AU terminated 2/3 basketball staffers one of which was the Asst HC. Voluntarily sat 2 players for more than a season while also self-imposing a entire recruiting cycle or more of recruiting restrictions.

That dork said Counzo has done a good job recruiting despite the challenges? He signs kids from the SEC heartland of DETROIT & plays the transfer market. Saying you can’t get Missouri kids because you are in the SEC is idiotic. He can’t get them because he only chases 5 star kids he finishes 4th for while others chase the 3-4 star kids then he takes the scraps.

Calipari and Rick Barnes . Texas fired him and look what it got them meanwhile tenn continues to put teams in tournament . I don’t consider the cheater iat Auburn to be a good coach he gets way to much credit for doing illegal recruiting similar to LSUs coach Wade.

I'd push Arky, Bama and Auburn down a tier.

Maybe LSU up if it wasn't so corrupt.

LMAO at pushing Arkansas below TN.

I would say
Kentucky

Arkansas

Florida

The rest

We have as many elite 8s last year alone than you do in program history. Bruce Pearl had a couple good years.

Before Bruce your women averaged more fans at games.

You’re so butthurt over Tennessee in every sport. You don’t even try to be objective.

Please list how TN is better than Arkansas at any sport?

Football? Nope think we have beaten you the last 3 times
Basketball? Nope, Muss was in year two and already accomplished more in year two than UTjr has in their entire program history.
Baseball? hahahaha not even close

Well, that's 100% false. Want to try that again?

Its 100% close to the truth.

I had a 1st cousin that played basketball for TN back in the Allen Houston days.

Some coaches in the league voiced a perception that Donovan made the program seem better than it was, as UF has hardly any history beyond Donovan, Lon Kruger and Mike White's recent modest success.

"The fan support isn't what it is at Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, even Auburn," one coach said. "Unless they're winning national championships, that place [the O'Connell Center] isn't full. And they play in an older facility, although they've renovated it."

And yet they still ranked them 2.

Oh my bad. I didn't pay attention to who you were replying to. Auburn's women's team has never been anywhere near UT, so that makes more sense. Not like the men's team has been anything special, but they still always outgained the women at the very least.

I'm not saying Tennessee is consistently on the same level of support as Arkansas.

Reality is we are way up top in a tier by ourselves. Then I put Arkansas. Yall still put butts in seats there generally, good and bad.

Tennessee has had a lot of lean years, like Buzz Peterson in the 90s, and got middling support, but when you compare their on court results with their attendance, I hate them but I have to acknowledge they do better than other schools in similar circumstances in this conference.

Sure, Auburn is packing out Auburn arena right now, but before Bruce they were absolutely at the bottom of the barrel next to Ole Miss and Georgia. And whenever Bruce leaves or that program falters, they'll go right back to empty arenas.

Mississippi State has good support, whoever ranked them the worst job is a dumbass. And I'd say if South Carolina could ever get their shite together they have a pretty good gig there. But they haven't yet so I won't hold my breath.
