Florida is definitely NOT the #2 job in this conference. That quote is 100% spot on. A lot of recency bias, and their fans half assed cared then. Couldn't even fill the ODome to celebrate their hanging a natty banner. That's fricking disgraceful. When things are going well I put LSU and Alabama above Florida.

Please list how TN is better than Arkansas at any sport?

The fact that you’re in here arguing about the history of Tennessee basketball in the NCAA tournament when this is a thread ranking the top jobs in the conference (where history is just a small metric of what makes a job good) proves how much of a butthurt little bitch you are over Tennessee.

Tennessee has top facilities, money, great fan support and close proximity to several good recruiting locations and has been a top 3 team in the conference consistently over the past 15 years.

hahahahahahah top 3 in womens basketball?

One elite 8 in 2010 under Pearl (he is a good coach I agree with that).

Other than that your program has done nothing. Regular season Rick will continue that tradition.

Maybe Vitello will get you legit at baseball for a few years before he leaves for Arkansas

For comparison during that timespan Kentucky has been to 12 and Florida 11.

oh I can read.

One elite 8 by a coach that is now at Auburn (a legit coach) doesnt make you top 3 within any 15 years you want to window

Except it does. Arkansas has been absolute shite during that time span. 1 year doesn’t make for that.

There's more to being a desirable job/program than fan support. I'm not arguing they're the #2 job in the SEC, but they have a lot going for them (their brand, recent success, recruiting, etc..) that you could argue makes them the #2 job.

Look, the fact is, it does not matter the sport, these guys always pick MSU last in everything because they do little work and just regurgitate whatever they’ve heard in the past.

Didn't State have the 2nd or 3rd most wins in the SEC during Stansbury's tenure?

Yeah except what happened wasn't really a competitive advantage thing. Person was fired because he was steering players to an agent to line his own pockets, not recruiting violations.

People conflate the allegations we were in that DOJ report for with the allegations the other 6 schools were in there for. We didnt get bagged for "strong arse offers" at all.

And it's funny that an Alabama fan would try to bag on us for this when their boy Kobe Baker tried to do the same thing with Sexton.

7 tournament appearances for Arkansas since 2006 is bad I agree but that is actually good for TN. Congrats on your 10 in that time frame. So if our program has been dog shite since then what does that say about TN best stretch in school history that has amounted to nothing under their current coach but 3 more tourney appearances?

Regardless the MussBus has us rolling again while your best coach in school history is winning at Auburn.

Damn I just got real sad for TN fans when looking at their basketball wiki history page.

Stop trying to make TN/Arkansas a rivalry. We don’t care about you. We figured you would’ve gotten over the Stumble and Fumble by now.
