You left the Joe Moore award for best o line off of your graphic.

Also it’s a little easier not having a single true road game the entire season. No pressure

Yeah, that's why Vegas gives the home team big 14-21 point advantages.

Wait, I've just been informed that it's actually well below 3 points and your point is stupid.

This is absolute historical revisionism. Someone who is 100% isn't listed as a game-time decision by the coaching staff, doesn't limp off the field after the game, and isn't a game-time decision for the Mississippi State game the very next week.

Saban said Tua was "fine" before the game and about "90%" after the game.

Crying about Tua's "injury" is a sad cope. The man threw for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns, didn't start limping until it was clear they weren't going to win the game.

At the end of the day, if you're asking which football season I'd wanna have my school's historically best football season during, I'm picking 2019 each time.

2019 can be duplicated easily. In fact, Clemson went 15-0 the year before then.

2020 with the all P5/SEC schedule is not likely to ever be duplicated without large changes to the NCAA.

I hate the Tua injury, but you quoting 4 TDs and his yards to say he had a good game is total bullshite.

Alabama fans do that crap too. But the reality is he spent 3 quarters of the game not doing shite but turning the ball over. It wasn't until Najee Harris starting getting more carries that the team started moving the ball.

Tua didn't do shite in the game really. 2 of those TDs came from DeVonta Smith getting wide open. Another TD came from Najee Harris taking a short pass and running it for a TD.

And the other TD came from the only real drive he had in the game that resulted in a TD, rather than a fumble. Which didn't happen until the 4th quarter, came after Najee opened things up and still relied a decent amount on Najee.

He had a shitty game, but I think the injury excuse is weak. He tried to win the Heisman and made piss poor decisions the entire game. The defense and special teams is the only reason Alabama even had a chance at the end.

Yea nothing like beating a team that was 7-0 for a title over a team that was 14-0 and had a 29 game win streak.

Give me a break

I would argue in terms of actual better team vs better in their year.

I think if you compare Bama in 2020 vs LSU 2019 they are similar obviously by the pic in the OP. But 2020 because of covid was a down year in football across the country. If you think the level of play in 2020 was anywhere close to 2019, you are kidding yourself.

Bama 2020 was great in their year, but I would happily take the 2019 Bama team (playing at their best) vs the 2020 Bama team (playing at their best) if you gave me the choice.

Kind of like teams from the 70s and 80s couldn't compete with teams today but they were dominant for their time.

Now, I know no Bama fan wants to agree with this, but teams didn't get spring practice or had very limited practice, many teams had top players (not just LSU) sit out the year. Many teams played games shorthanded once or twice.

The level of play was just down.

Only dumb people think records are a good measurement for team strength.

You need a clue, not a break.

And you just beat the worst LSU team in 20 years by 38. Good luck this year

Half of LSU team was gone over 40 players. No superstars, basically a JV team with the worst defense maybe in history. But you don't mention that though!

All you are saying is that the year had a lot of extra difficulties to overcome.

Unless you are telling me that everyone but Alabama had to deal with those things, it makes it a harder season, not easier.

Aside from the extreme point difference already, Alabama could have scored another 40 points on you if it wanted.

Yeah and because I tell them they are fricking stupid for it, I'm banned from the Alabama forum. They all blamed Golding, even though it was the defense that kept Alabama in the game to start with.

Yeah, schedules made because of the circumstances of a global pandemic, you retard

You're essentially a Lakers fan bragging about how "nobody will ever win a title in a bubble like us" again

I refuse to get into this with you for like the 3rd-4th time because it's obvious you have a pile of dogshit for brain by constantly comparing the 2020 season side-by-side with other CFB seasons. You've made it quite obvious that "context" is a foreign concept in your mind.

So the reason for the more difficult schedule is more important than the actual difficulty of the schedule.

Yeah, I agree you are best served by shutting up.

You forgot the * on Bama’s season. That year will never be looked at as a normal season.
That’s the biggest difference.

"I don't think any other SEC team will be able to go undefeated against an all-SEC schedule like us again, although I'm completely aware I'm being dishonest and know that no team in the future will be able to even attempt because of a one-off schedule"

I think he was basically saying that 2019 LSU with an offseason would basically beat 2020 Alabama without one.

2019 LSU likely wouldn't beat 2019 Alabama more than 50% of the time.

So I find that unlikely.
