Seems like just yesterday Bama was taking apart Ohio St in the title game. Now here we are about 1 month away from the unofficial start to college football starting a new season.

If you say so. If I did not get on this site I would have never known. I don’t watch much baseball. It’s like watching paint dry.

You wouldn’t know it by visiting this website, but college baseball averages lower attendance per event than gymnastics, and brings in less revenue than women’s basketball and ice hockey nationally.

You cared about fking Fouts and softball. Guys like you kill me. You never went to Alabama, you’re a sidewalk fan, you only care about a sport when you’re good at it and nobody will see you again when you don’t.

Finish your beer and get some sleep because this is baseball season. Go Dawgs!

I did not say it’s the official start of college football season. Read a little closer. I said it’s the unofficial start of college football season. From the end of Media Days business starts to pick up. So it’s the unofficial start to college football.

My thoughts exactly. They take pride in ignoring the sports they don't do well in.

Go F yourself!!!! Like the NFL people talk College Football year around especially in the South. If you want to talk about boring arse baseball then go for it. Not one person is preventing you from doing so. And if you have to hold a degree from a school to be a fan of any college team then you might as well get ready for sports to dry up. College athletics would completely die if not for the so called sidewalk fan. It’s those fans that keep all college sports up and running and on tv. And considering college football finance most of those sports I think it’s relevant year around. What a complete smart as dickhead that thinks he is better than everyone else!!!!

No they wouldn't. Nascar and bowling alleys would just make more money.

What percent of the softball talent bypasses college softball? Now do college baseball 1 is a watered down sport, the other is not.

NASCAR and bowling ally’s aren’t college sports. If you took away all the fans of every school that did not hold a degree from that school then you would not have an audience left to to fill the stadiums so you can forget about a tv audience.

That's pretty much it. Wonder why folks over here talk about college baseball being one of the big 3 of college sports?

You're right-

Football, men's basketball, and women's basketball, in that order.

You can’t mention women’s basketball because when we played for 2 natty’s we were also told nobody cared about that sport either.
