I mean, Burrow won a Heisman and Natl Title on the philosophy that the best OL is the OL that's blocking for a QB who gets rid of the ball quickly to outstanding WR talent so what do they know?

What I read was they took Chase instead of the tackle from Oregon is because they hired back some OL coach that was let go when the new regime came in. They realized their mistake. They have confidence that this guy they re hired will be able to coach up the guys they have now like Jonah Williams and the rest.

They picked up 2-3 new linemen in the off season, but you were probably too busy practicing your flute for the first game of the season's core band performance.
