I think the above are a different level of generic chain. My hometown of 17K had a Pizza Hut, Papa John’s and Dominos.
Having just the big three options and having a variety of nicer fast casual chains are quite a bit different.

The place was a disgusting dump by the end sadly - maggots and shite. I mean it was never nice but damn did they let it go.

Double Dave's kinda sucks IMO. I prefer Antonio's TBH but that may partly be b/c eating there after partying on Northgate likely saved me from alcohol poisoning on multiple occasions. I did win double prizes from the Gumby's claw machine once though.

FWIW Schlitz and Giggles is an awful representation for pizza in Baton Rouge as well. I'm guessing whoever put this list together put names in a hat and whoever they pulled out was the winner.

It is amazing how different the Bama and Auburn ones are. I remember always talking to friends that went to Bama and they would never want to go to Little Italy when they came to visit. The vibes are so astronomically different between the two locations. It is bizarre.

I put Antonio's at the top for best pizza slice in town. However, Gumby's pizza rolls are pretty awesome. I don't think I or anyone else I know has actually had their pizza though.
