The place is a cultural wasteland, regardless of how badly they try and convince us otherwise. It really says a lot of how "lowbrow" the Saban family is to stay there all these years.

Village Idiot is pretty good pizza, but Il Bucato blows them out of the water. Granted they’re fairly new, so this list was probably made before they got up and running.

Not doubling down on anything. I'd go DePalma's if you made me choose. The point of my prior post is what it is, Chuck E Cheese makes good pizza. Is it the best? Maybe not, but it's definitely good.
Honestly, I was shocked the first time I had it a few years ago. My wife swore to me it was good for the longest time and then we finally took the kids to have some fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

They were a lifesaver when I had a couple of jobs in that part of Alabama last year. Had a tear out at a dialysis clinic in Union Springs and a job in Dadeville the following morning. Figured I'd overnight in Auburn since they were pretty close to equal distance from there. Unfortunately the Union Springs job ended up taking 10 hours rather than the 4 I had allotted. Get to Auburn after a scary arse drive on a dark highway with deer everywhere, and I was in no mood to jack up my truck by nailing one at speed. I got to town at 1:30am, when few restaurants are open. I desperately needed a beer or 3 and a grease infusion and they were right there.
Place was still busy at 2am. Ah to be college aged again.
