I can see why Vols fans are upset with Fulmer. How could he lose that game to UCLA after getting 4 first half interceptions. Most SEC teams, even Vandy, would have put that one away early.

UT is an embarrassment to the SEC...they've lost to a PAC-10 team twice in the last two years. They're making the conference look really bad.

Arian Foster has to be the most over-rated RB in the SEC. For all his talent he has a penchant for back-breaking fumbles in the Red Zone that kills the momentum. Miles would never stand for it, in fact he wouldn't have played at all.

Id fire the OC first. That was the most horribly inept gameplan I have ever seen. I cant remember how many times they had a successful running play on first down only to try 2 passes that failed miserably. Insanity is trying the same thing that doesnt work over and over and over...or if not insanity, at least extreme stubborness. That was tough to watch.

What more can you expect from a program that has become content with mediocrity. Fulmers new contract basically gives him job security for 8 win seasons.

Fulmer = DiNardo.

say DiNardo would have gotten P. Manning in recruiting; and Manning wins a title on his own for LSU. Which is what happened with Tenn. We extend DiNardos contract bc he won us a NC and we fall into mediocrity forever.

It was a shitty game by both teams. Hard to believe though that UT couldn't put the game away after that gift TD at the end of the first half. Fulmer has a charmed life at UT, but the real king of fortune is Bowden at Clemson. How that guy manages to keep his job is beyond me.

Empirical evidence says NO.

Evidence > your opinion.

Another year PAC 10 worst > SEC Best

Yeah, he only averaged over 7 yards per carry. But, they wouldn't give him the ball, even before the fumble.

When has that ever happened? UCLA is bad, but TN is not even close the the SEC best. Last year Cal did beat TN, but they certainly weren't the best in the SEC.

I think you're looking at TN as the SEC. Clearly TN can't travel cross-country and win. But, LSU certainly went to PAC-10 opponents in the last few years and won. Only team that comes to SEC country and wins is USC. Granted, they have dominated when they come.

Yeah... well, they played Arkansas. They need to come over here and play LSU.

They put a pretty good whipping on Auburn, too.

I think you guys are making a mistake by blowing them off right now.Fulmer is a horse's behind, but there's still a lot of football left.

I'm not saying USC isn't good... I just think LSU would beat them. Maybe not this year (due to new QB) but they always seem to luck out when they come over here.

I just hate some of their fans... they were assholes.

I agree with you about LSU v. USC, but I don't think 50-14 (without D-Mac, but still the West champs that year) and 23-0 on the road against SEC teams is lucking out. All I can go on are the records of teams that have played. LSU 4-0 against Pac-10. USC 2-0 against SEC.

4-0 under PC. SC beat Auburn in LA in 2002 and scored 70 against Arky in 2005

Yes, all I could think of was Jimbo must be the OC.

Jimbo was never close to being that bad. Jimbo would have run the ball and won that game. Clawson apparently wanted to throw the ball down field, even though Crompton couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. And he kept doing it and doing it and doing it.

That was a heartbreaking loss for Auburn. Very good game though.
