BAMA has the best WR's, Best OL, Best RB and the QB rarely if ever is under duress. Even if they stall all those 5 star defensive guys get the ball right back.

My point was folks always bring up the non P5 games as if Burrow didn’t absolutely scorch the top end P5 competition at the end of the season

It's whatever, dude. Joe Burrow had a fantastic season in 2019 and deservedly won the Heisman. Mac Jones had a fantastic season in 2020 and no one would have complained had he upset DeVonta Smith to win the Heisman.

let's just forget that they did this against an OKAY schedule.

lets just forget facts and start claiming things to make us look better......we've seen this before.

They beat 4 of the final top 10 teams destroying every one of them.

Didn't have the benefit of true home games, either.

This argument is stupid.

Max Jones had 0 yards and 0 TDs against the zero Top 15 defenses he faced! nOt BaD!

So you're saying teams in 2019 were able to pad their defensive stats against teams like Northwestern State, Utah State, and Georgia Southern?

Who knew?

Both of these teams won 7 games.

You know who else won 7 games?

Secondly, so what if you lost 17/22 starters? Qwitcher whining. It's not like LSU doesn't have any talent stockpiled. Reload. Replace. Coach up. That's what champions are SUPPOSED to do. EVERY year.

Thanks for proving my point for me

If LSU fans say anything about a historic turnover they're "whining" yet Bammers can cry about their 2019 injuries all day long and that's "truth, not excuses."

What a hypocritical arse fanbase.

Who's more obsessively jealous of Bama, you or WT21?

Not even close. You didn't hear ME whining. In 2019, LSU-BAMA was a great game. I think if the game was three minutes longer... but hey, that's how it goes. LSU won on the field. It was the keystone to your season IMHO. Burrow played great and we didn't manage to come up with all the defensive stops we needed to, especially late in the game. It was a fair and square win for LSU.

I tell you what it WASN'T... and that was a 38 point BEATDOWN that was flat out embarrasing and one that could have been a LOT worse. Bama could have hung 70 on LSU last year if we hadn't eased up in the second half. Funny how a lot of LSU fans think the 2019 game against Bama was an epic smashing. It wasn't. It was a tight game with Bama coming back and making it close. I make no excuse whatsoever on injuries, that's why we have a second and third team and guys have to step up their game. Both teams fought well; we came close but LSU came out at the end. Congratulations on breaking an eight year drought.

But, as they say, party time is over and we showed you why in 2020. Champions recruit, reload, and replace. Why is this so hard to understand? We've been showing you the blueprint for nearly 15 years now up close and personal.

Spot on.

Another point that a lot of them forget is that when it comes to strength of schedule, BAMA is *always* starting from a comparison deficit of numbers against us.

After all... we don't have BAMA on our schedule.

Amirite???
