Can we not get a recruiting site that verifys players weight?

Arkansas had a player listed anywhere from 180 to 225 depending on which site you use.

I mean, can you really trust the height/weight from any program's media guide? They're almost always 2-4" shorter when they get measured at the combine.

Wut? Point guard? Is this a joke or are you serious?

He means like more of a point forward. Sort of like lebron or herb jones role.

Trilly used the shark emoji when talking about Hodgson today too

Slater gave the shark to Hodgson and the scorpion to Oats, right?

Also, doesn’t Slater cover WBB, and Trilly started Skim Milkey?

Not point guard necessarily, but point forward maybe. I think it was discussed a bit in the past, but during conference play he was surprisingly skilled at getting to the hoop with the ball. A forward who can handle the ball and drive to the basket with it can really open up the floor because you have to bring a bigger player out to defend him. I don't think that is Mo D, but he can handle the ball a bit and he's a bit of a sneaky good athlete so I wouldn't say it's totally outside the realm of possibility that he eventually gets to play some point forward like Herb did as a senior.

I am.

He can develop into that point forward role similar to Herb Jones.

He's tough, gritty, and just has that will to win.

He has tools to work with and if Coach Oats can develop him like I think he can then he will be a star in the same mold as Herb Jones. He won't be as good defensively but they will be eerily similar.

I hope Cliff makes out of his visit at KState before I get my hopes up.

That’s a hell of a culture shock from Jersey to Manhattan, Kansas.

I agree on Mo D. Just gotta hope we can keep him long enough to develop him. He has the skill base to play that Herb role. He is not as quick as Herb but he is a stronger rebounder. I think he understands how to keep a defender on his hip and drive the basketball. I remember he had some sneaky good passes down low too.

Ron Artest is the ceiling for him if he develops a shot. Both are New York guys.

I don’t like how he keeps pushing his visit here back and keeps letting teams jump in front of us

Not sure why you're getting downvoted for this take. I mean you could look at it like we offered him the most money and he's just shopping the offer, but even if that were true the more visits he takes the more likely it is someone matches or exceeds it and we either lose out or get into a bidding war.

I don't think getting the last visit is an advantage anymore at all. Certainly not the advantage it used to be.

I turned it in with about 45 seconds left. That was crazy as hell.

If you missed it...

Still probably mild compared his last move, from Nigeria to Jersey.

Mo did bring the ball up lots last year. He can run and dribble. I agree that's a skill he can develop. Needs to get a couple of shots he can hit too.
