With unlimited NIL money, it was bound to happen and only a matter of time. My only surprise is that it has taken this long. Scholarships are going to became much less relevant.
I don't think there is a limit on the number of non-scholarship players.

The rules governing who you can count as a walk on make it complicated. You basically can't be recruited. The question is, does this kid broadcasting his willingness to sacrifice a scholarship for NIL render any communication with him "recruiting" per NCAA rules. If the answer is "no", scholarship limits are out the window at schools like Arkansas, aTm, and Miami.

Just playing Devil's advocate, For example If a player applies for admission to a school and is accepted before any contact with the athletic department and then he initiates contact w/the athletic dept. I don't see how the NCAA could claim he was recruited.
I don't see how there is any way for them to police contact with fans who might "just happen to know" what is available in NIL.

We already have, we made an elite 8 under Gottfried. The next step is a final 4.

Is Creighton really supposed to be that good? I look forward to playing them it should be a good test. Sucks that it's a home game for them.

Knew he was going there the day he entered the portal and they did tamper, when it became clear that Mikey Williams wasn't gonna be able to play they were contacting PGs they wanted from other teams.

I really hope Memphis falls off a cliff this year but with Houston, Cincinnati, and UCF leaving they won’t. They are basically in the C-USA again. I guess FAU is the only team on their level this year in conference
