Just read some new Dave Matter blather. Seems he's not happy with negative Mizzou fans. Says we're "hurting the basketball program."
Following sports teams is, at least among sane people, entertainment. If folks aren't entertained, they'll gripe.
I'm starting to think that Matter is sexually aroused by our latest sociology professor.
How DARE we be frustrated with Gonzo.

I don't think the fans are hurting the team or the program's reputation as much as losing double digit leads in the second half on a regular basis.

I think the big disconnect with Cuonzo, is that he doesn't seem incompetent, he has a stately stature, but his program gives you the feeling like it is under performing. Whether it's weird losses or recruiting, you just feel like a guy like this should have a better program.

No different than Jeff Gordon, Miklasz, and others chiding the BFIBs for daring to criticize DeWitt and Mo or Doug Armstrong of the Blues. They're all bootlickers.

I just read the Dave Matter article. I wonder if he remembers Odom inherited an offense that went multiple games with out scoring a touchdown with that same “franchise quarterback” (extremely liberal use of that term locks got a ton to figure out). Matter also said he took some gambles on recruits that didn’t pan out? What? took multiple 4 stars he couldn’t find a way to fit in and transferred? He’s a bleeding liberal and he loves Cuonzo social justice stances and I think he’s blinded by that quite frankly. We just want him to finish games. I think there are a ton of parallels between Odom and Cuonzo.
