Chris Lemonis is good, but hasn’t proven to be better than OSullivan or Dave Van Horn.

Van Horn has built Arkansas' up.

Yeah sure, let’s put a guy who has 7 college World Series appearances, 1 national championship runner up and a national championship win as the 4th best in the SEC...terrible list, but you already knew that when you posted it

Mainieri won the CWS (something Van Horn hasn’t done) with a roster be rebuilt from the ground up, LSU missed the postseason the year before he arrived.

Mr. Nacho himself Smoke Laval did a great job running LSU baseball into the ground in his 5 years between Skip and Paul.

Before Van Horn was hired, Arkansas had little baseball tradition and had not made a CWS apperance in 15 years.

Baseball was treated here like women's basketball. The interest level was low. Norm did well but it was in decline. Now it is one of the few college baseball programs to make more than break even in revenue. Now we are top three in baseball attendance each year.

So you think the Arkansas baseball program that Van Horn took over was equivalent to the one Maineri took over?

Edit....forgot about Laval I thought he took over for Bertman

Lemonis hasn’t been here long enough to be that high though I think he is good.

Still...yalls program had recognition and people expected yall in Omaha.

If Van Horn had went to LSU he probably has multiple National Championships right now.

This.

A&M should never be this bad. I haven't been to Blue Bell since the renovations but they look great.

LSU won multiple CWS championships in the 90s before Mainieri.

Arkansas would struggle to get .500 in conference play in the 90s.
