Bama used to be top 5 in both Men's and Women's every year. It seems that over the past few years more and more of our talent goes pro after one or two years. I guess it's hard to keep the best of the best

Men’s Golf resumes play tomorrow. Until then, a little JT news to keep some life in this thread.

Justin Thomas birdied his first four holes at TPC Sawgrass en route to a third-round -8 at the Players Championship. Lee Westwood (69-66-68) had the lead at 13-under, two ahead of DeChambeau (69-69-67) and three in front of Thomas (71-71-64) and Doug Ghim (71-67-68).

Perfect draw off 18 tee for @JustinThomas34

While we wait on another update on the Men’s team, here’s another tidbit on JT

Thomas won The Players Championship for the first time in his career, recording the largest 36-hole comeback in the event's history

quote:

Former University of Alabama golfer Justin Thomas was only four shots off the cut line after the first two rounds of The Players Championship, however after respective rounds of 64 and 68 on Saturday and Sunday to finish at 14-under par, Thomas took him his first PGA Tour win of the season.

It was the largest 36-hole comeback in the history of the event. Thomas won $2.7 million thanks to the first-place finish.
