Benedetta Moresco Receives SEC Freshman of the Week Honor
The honor comes after finishing in a tie for sixth place, marking her fourth consecutive top-10 finish this spring. In the last four tournaments, Moresco has averaged 71.67 strokes per round to pace the Crimson Tide.

Alabama Women’s Golf Set to Compete in the SEC Championship
The 24th-ranked Alabama women's golf team will compete in the SEC Championship tournament on Wednesday in Birmingham, Ala., at the 6,253-yard par 72 Legacy Course at Greystone Golf and Country Club.
The event will be five days with three rounds of stroke play followed by three rounds of match play. Eighteen holes will be played Wednesday-Friday. The field will then cut to the top eight teams and begin match play. The quarterfinals and semifinals matches will be played on Saturday, with the championship match airing Sunday on SEC Network at 7:30 a.m. CT.

The Alabama women's golf team finished the first round of the SEC Championship with four players under par as Polly Mack, Benedetta Moresco, Kenzie Wright and Emilie Øverås led the way for the Crimson Tide at Greystone Golf and Country Club’s par-72, 6,253-yard Legacy Course.
Alabama is in eighth place after posting a team score of 8-under par 280. The Tide is eight strokes off the tournament leaders, LSU and South Carolina, who turned in a 16-under par 272. Individually, Mack sits in a tie for fourth place, three strokes behind Ana Pelaez of South Carolina.
