How would this board feel about Alabama winning the basketball championship?

I honestly wouldn’t be too upset since they aren’t one of the usual suspects.
I feel like some on this board may not take it too well though.

I would be scared to death because that means the pandemic has sidelined every team in the country and Covid is out of control. Of course Bama would still be reporting zero positives.

They won't. This Bama team is good, but there are a few teams in the country on another level. Next year Bama will take a step back because this current team is lead by upperclassmen. I also suspect an Indiana type school will come for Oats within 2 or 3 years at the latest.

SEC Championship is possible. Sweet 16 maybe. But that is all I dare to dream. But we are much farther along under our coach than I thought we would be.

I would like to see this happen at some point. Would be a remarkable achievement. Texas was really close to doing it in 2005, but shite the bed in the elite eight.

I guess cause its basketball it wouldn't be the end of the world. Recruiting is more surgical in basketball and a single title isn't the recruitment tool that it is in football.

As a Bama fan, I couldn’t care less. Wonderful if they do well, don’t care if they don’t.
