This is now officially a series. I’m going to make a list almost every day. To rank positions for the SEC. My top 5 for TEs...
#1 Jalen Wydermyer: (Texas AM)
Will be a Junior next season and has produced consistently. I believe he will prob have the most experience of my list in this group. It was a tuff one, but I’m gonna give him the number 1 Spot.
#2 Arik Gilbert: (Florida)
Now is at UF. If he continues to develop it wouldn’t surprise me if he was 1 at the end of the year. But he is gonna have to deal with a more running QB. So we will see how he will do.
#3 Jahleel Billingsly: (Alabama)
Got more involved with the Bama offense later in the season last year. He plays like a WR. And is a mismatch. He will have to deal with the new coaches and QB to get settled in. But he should do well.
#4 Darnell Washington: (UGA)
If there is any one to match Gilbert’s Ceiling it’s Washington. Highly rated and a huge target. He should be used more next season. Now that Daniels is familiar with the offense and the players.
#5 Ben Bresnahan: (Vandy)
Pretty decently good year in 2020. He will return, and have more chemistry with Seals.
He deserves this spot.

Gilbert is number 1 and Cole Taylor might be number 5.

Arik Gilbert is really really slow and for his size soft as Kleenex

2 Arik Gilbert
His body hurts too much to be in top of anything but soft.

Yea I have em at 6. He was pretty good in the number of snaps played. Great blocker as well. Gilbert and Taylor are a perfect duo for each other.

LSU fans called Arik soft and a quitter. Now he’s the next Gronk because he might wear piss yellow again

Did you stop crying when the news broke Arik might wear piss yellow again?

Gilbert is soft as Charmin, but talented. Maybe he will get tougher with age?

They are like clockwork. They shite all over this kid when he told them to frick OFF!!! after the Alabama molestation, now they are back to autofellating themselves over the possibility he may choose them... again.

You can’t make this up. I ask RANK the top 5 TEs. And some of the first responses are about a player specifically going to LSU.
Now it’s a argument about Gilbert.

You’ve been crying since you joined this site. You are nothing but the butt of other posters’ jokes. Retarded, cajunbama doesn’t even like you. I feel sorry for you.

Hey I bet Arik can let you borrow a Kleenex

Your literally melting about a dude that doesn’t even go to your school. Your dude is ranked number 1. This is so ironic.

In fairness it was LSU fans saying this when he went into the portal.

Our backup TE Casey Kelly (brother of former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly) didn't play much this year while sitting behind Kenny Yeboah. However, after Yeboah opted out following the MS State game, Kelly had 6 catches for 49 yards and a TD in the Outback Bowl vs. Indiana. I'd put him on the list of TEs who could have a surprising season next year.

Wydermeyer should be #1 based on production. Washington looked damn good in the bowl game. Im not sure Gilbert has a higher upside.
Without knowing the teams really well, who was more productive between Gilbert and Washington?

Hudson Henry at Arkansas IF he could stay healthy. Great size speed and hands. Blocking is a work in progress.
