Georgia gonna fire Crean soon?
What a disaster
He will get 4 years because of his history of taking that long to turn around programs. But I’m livid right now.

Why?
You are losing to a basketball blue blood.
No shame in that.

Man that got sloppy, but I'll take an easy win on the road against UGA

Sharife 26/9/4 and 28/12/5 in his first 2 games. Kid is really something

We're saving all our thunder for next seasons championship run.

Funny thing is that he doesn't have a natural outside shot yet. It's pretty ugly actually. He does all that going to the rack for the most part

His feel on the dribble drive once he gets a guy on his hip is phenomenal

I’ll even post my melt from another Georgia board. I don’t care anymore. This program is pathetic.

I’m not asking us to be a Final 4 team. I just want a season. A full season where I can root for our guys on as they try to get to the tourney. But once again, this season is over in January.
I’ll readily admit that Crean had inherited a tough task, with 8+ newcomers each year, but it’s beyond that at this point.
Not tall enough? That’s fine.
Can’t shoot well? That’s ok
Recruiting to Georgia is tough.
What I CAN’T excuse is the way these guys play.
- Ridiculous turnovers every game
- Gets blocked on forced layups
- Ridiculous baseline passes leading to turnovers
- Terrible FT shooting
- Dumb fouls
- Zero post presence
And there is near ZERO development of players. Guys come in as freshmen and look pretty good, and they have high ceilings. 2 years later, they aren’t any better, and they haven’t developed their game at all. Claxton is the only guy we’ve had recently that has made a big jump over a year. And that was probably because of Mark Fox to be honest.
- Fagan
- Hammonds
- Crump
- Christian Brown is on his way
And the stats say Camara has improved, but it seems to me that he’s basically the same player as last year with more opportunities. He hasn’t matured AT ALL and still plays like a guard.
Finally, I’m sick of losing all these guys to transfer/dismissal. How many highly ranked guys have we lost after 1-2 years under Crean?
- 4 star Amanze Ngumezi
- 4 star Jaykwon Walton
- 4 star Ignas Sargunias
- 3 star Rodney Howard
- 3 star Mike Peake
- 3 star JoJo Toppin
- 3 star Teshaun Hightower
- 3 star Isaac Kante
We wouldn’t have 8 newcomers every single year if we didn’t lose 3 guys to transfer every year. People make jokes about culture issues, but there is a serious culture problem in Georgia basketball. The good players we do get can’t wait to get out of here.
Honestly, out of all the major schools in the country making any effort to improve their basketball team, Georgia is probably the worst.
It’s unbelievable that despite the effort we put into improving our basketball program, we are about as good as Vandy, who could discontinue their hoops program and not care.

frick this team. At least KD played well.

That no-look dime to the post was tits...I don’t think I’ve seen a PG be this good this fast. His court vision is unreal. If he stays a 2nd year, this team is a national contender.
Enjoyed watching the dawgs young guard, he’s gonna be really good as well. Our length really affected your team tonight. That would be my worry with the dawgs team, especially with those two really good guards on the floor together. Something for the coaches to figure out...
Good game fellows

And we haven't even seen him play with Powell yet. We only hit five 3's tonight. JP benefits more than anybody with Sharife in the lineup. I hope he plays against the Cats this weekend.
