This is a statement from Missouri HC Drinkwitz. He was on "SEC This Morning". This article talked about it. Good read on what Drinkwitz have to say about his first year as Missouri HC and in the SEC.

For those that think Missouri didn't have issues and were fine at game day. Missing players and uses other players to play at different position to continue to play the game and not get it postponed or cancelled.

No one cares about Coach Harry Potter and his radio interview.

What would be refreshing would be a coach to say ... every team has to deal with the Covid thing. Just like injuries, weather, field conditions, etc. so let's not make excuses.

That being said, I do think Drinkwitz will get Mizzou going in a better direction. He's not been a bad hire at all for them.

The point of this post was to show that Mizzou is in bad shape to begin with! I blamed all this on Odom and he left Mizzou with the second to last in recruiting class in the last 4 years! Very little talents and almost no depth! Give Drinkwitz 3 years to get the talents and depth to a point where he can compete against the rest of the SEC. Also Drinkwitz is getting the experience as he is doing all this. He shall have Mizzou back to competing for the east division in 2 to 3 years.

It would be different if Missouri was the only team with issues but every team had issues.

Gary Pinkel did it twice! Drinkwitz is recruting a lot better than Pinkel did and it is looking a lot better for Drinkwitz and Mizzou!
Mizzou got 2 4* recruits to commit for 2022 already and that never happened before!

Wow, 2 whole 4 stars...

The rest of the East has 60 combined. Like 40 combined between Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. Missouri isn’t competing for the East today, tomorrow or anytime within the next decade.

The first time Missouri shows any sign of success, our operatives from UGA and UF will infiltrate the student body once again to force civil unrest on campus and within the program.

Earlier than normal! Not in the last minute get. I am talking about early than ever for a Mizzou recruiting class!
Never happened before. It looks like Drinkwitz is a much better recruiter than Gary Pinkel and Odom! That is all what I am saying things are turning for the better for Mizzou and Drinkwitz! Gary Pinkel did win the east with a lot less talents in both years! Also Drinkwitz is moving the team in the right direction! If you think not so then how did Drinkwitz go 5-5 and beat out all of the newly hired for the best record among the newly hired HCs.

He and Harsin have an interesting history. The first time Auburn and Missouri play may have a little extra gravitas.

You’re talking about recruits that are two years away, who knows if they will actually stick.

MSU have by far better talents! Is that true? Yes! That is what I am talking about! Give Missouri time to get the talents and close the gap with talent level. That is why Missouri losses big most of the time to top teams! Starts with talents first and then coaching! Missouri recruiting class was 13 in the SEC! Only Vandy had worst talents at 14! See the difference?! I guess many of you don't know how this all add up to winning! Winning starts with top talents then coaching those top talents!

I don’t think you understand. You will always have the 10th or worse recruiting class in the SEC, 5th or worse in the East. You’ll never recruit well enough to compete.

Same issue that the Mississippi schools and Arkansas have.
