I’ll take that bet.

Those people are morons. We stop their run game and they die on the vine. They don't have the defense to slow us down. As long as we play our game we should roll

Also seems like they can pass, so preventing some huge plays like the bama game would be nice. Guessing from the comments it’s play action though? Need to watch some highlights, I didn’t see them this year

They run to set up the pass. The teams they played that could take the run away did well against them.

The last time we played a team from North Carolina in a Florida Bowl we were supposed to lose badly too...

Didn't we just rush for like 330 yards or something?

Is this in reference to NC State in 2018? We were TD favorites that game

Heels record-breaking running back, Javonte Williams, has opted out of the Orange Bowl. Williams will be entering the 2021 NFL Draft.
Williams made the official announcement on his instagram account.
"I would like to thank God for blessing me with the health and ability to plat the game I love and allowing me to be in this position. Thank you Coach Brown and the staff for giving me countless opportunities to display my talents."
The North Carolina native will be joining teammates Dyami Brown, Chazz Surratt, and running back mate, Michael Carter.
Decisions such as these do not come easy. Players are weighing more than just personal dreams, but also the benefit of those around them including teammates who have turned into family. Williams didn't announce immediately and seemingly took time to spend with those close to him to make the best choice possible for his future.
Along with Carter, the two made NCAA history at North Carolina when the pair rushed for a combined 544 yards against Miami; Individually, Williams with 236 yards. Williams is the only player nationally with 1100+ rushing yards and 300+ receiving yards.
Williams finishes the season with 1,140 yards, 19 touchdowns on 157 carries.

I mean, I'd opt out, too, if I had to face a pissed off Wrecking Crew

What really gets me about the build up to this bowl is just how awful the analysis for the game has been.
I was watching the First Responder Bowl and at the half they went to ESPN's studio crew who gave some quick previews of the other upcoming bowls. One of them was actually saying that he doesn't know how A&M will deal with UNC's offense and then named 3 guys who had opted out who we would have trouble containing. I could maybe give him not knowing about the most recent RB yet (though the info had been out for at least an hour by that point) but to name drop the other RB and WR who are out... WTF? Are these dudes even trying? When I was young working for ESPN would have been a dream job. Hell, it still would. To have a job where all I did was talk about CFB would be amazing and for these dudes to not be on top of every detail for the few bowls that are happening is embarrassing.

No, for the most part. The folks we see are vapid personalities. Actors. Barely sports fans, really.
