per a mod on one of the pay sites, a certain someone has stepped back into control one last time to make sure we don’t make another Gus/Chizik hire
(had heard rumblings a few years ago about his new-ish TU position being an attempt to reestablish some sort of influence over the direction of athletics, but completely forgot about it until the person who told me brought it up again today.)
