I rolled my eyes at he and Jesse Palmer's reaction at the beginning when making their picks. But that was justified because I think we were all expecting that. But at halftime after we realized that LSU came to play and not give up, he had a chance to mention that. And he basically did the same thing.
I was sad we didn't get to see his commentary after the game.

That kind of shite has become a big problem with all sports media when it comes to the college game. Hardly anyone is willing to recognize that these are college kids who don't always play to the best of their abilities.
It often feels like b/c ESPN and Fox have so much money invested in certain conferences that they aren't even really allowed to contemplate scenarios that would be bad for the bottom line. So like Northwestern winning the Big 10 is unthinkable for them. A 8-1 Florida falling to a team with a losing record makes no sense to them.
I know a lot of people on this board don't like him but of all the broadcasters I feel like Tim Brando is one of the only ones who is willing to say that anyone can lose on any given Saturday. Maybe it's b/c he's bounced around to so many different networks b/c the ones who have been in the same spot for the longest are the ones who scoff the most at the notion of events that don't jive with their preconceived narratives.

There is NO fan base with more sniveling, sensitive, whining little tittie-babies than the LSU bunch. I don't see how normal LSU fans live with it.
