What gives with this guy? Was really hoping he would be a major playmaker with his size.

Disappointing to say the least. I just hope he is happy here and stays the course. I feel like maybe he just isnt in it mentally with the coaching change this year. Maybe with another year of growth he can become a big playmaker once some of the guys ahead of him move on.

Who’s ahead of him that’s moving on? The only upperclassman that gets lots of pt at his position is warren and they’ve already talked about trying to get him to comeback next year since the covid season won’t count against eligibility

I would bet anything he transfers. He’s a good kid, I hope he does what’s best for himself whether that’s here or elsewhere.

Seems like he doesn't have SEC speed/quickness at that size to play WR.

Weird they can't just bulk him up and find a spot for him as a pass catching TE if that is the case.

From what I heard earlier in the season they tried to put weight on him since they arrived and he can't retain it.

The book has been out on jamming him at the LOS and he can't get through it/away from it.

yeah, he's gonna have to find a way to either bulk up or he's gonna get beat like this consistently going forward. it's unfortunate that all the other tools are there for the kid. maybe someone will teach him to play meaner going forward? put him in a room with dan skipper and don't let him out till skipper stops picking on him or something.

Even if he can’t maintain more weight if he could just get stronger to beat a press he could be a baller. He’s just got to take the weight room extremely serious

You're probably right but it would be nice to see him come on strong at the end of the year.

What about Keith Jackson's kid? Did he quit?

He’s out all season with an injury.

Briles really puts a premium on speed at receiver in his offense. I’m not sure if Knox has really found his place yet. I hope he gets there.

He had another surgery. Was it on his other knee?

I believe so. He’s going to have a hard time ever getting in the rotation at this point. Especially if Warren and Morris come back next year.

And the Crawford kid from OU. Curious what we do with Rocket Sanders, figure we'll give him a shot at WR since I'm sure that's what we're telling him in recruiting but think he'd be a good RB or LB too and might get on the field faster.

Completely forgot about Crawford. I wonder how he’s been doing in practice this season. Surely he’s a top guy on the scout team.
