Yep - and we didn't lay an egg or lollygagg around, we just weren't as sharp and State played pretty well. And we weathered every run and made big shots to close it out.

Good place to be.

We’ve already broken almost every Alabama basketball stereotype this season. We won a sloppy game today and traditionally, our teams would have crumbled and lost a momentum crushing game at home. It’s one of the things we hadn’t seen since this streak started.

I’m all the way the frick in now. If we blow this season in heartbreaking fashion, I’ll never believe in them again.

Until next season.

Also, I'd like to note that the curse was broken. I watched all 40 minutes. We won. I'm back. Fvck the hatas. Row Tahd.

I think we have 2-3 of those guys who do a lot of things well - Ellis and Primo are on their way to bring great multitool guys.

But Herb has just developed into such a great all around college basketball player.

The team is crushing jinxes left and right this season. Glad you crushed it today too, George. All aboard, bitches! SEC is officially on notice.

22-5 regular season, win the conference, win the SEC tournament if there even is one, lose to a 15 seed on a buzzer beater in the first round. This Is Alabama Basketball.

Is anyone still not all in on this team?

They are all skilled, long, and athletic. The days of watching Sexton & Obasahan play hero ball because the rest of the team sucks are long gone.

all starters were in double digits and all that played scored.

Even Hylton had some good minutes

One of the only redeeming qualities of sneaking into the tournament as a 8/9 seed, as we’ve done so many times over the years, is that we never had to worry about an embarrassing upset.

This team doesn’t have that gene though. If we get a 2, we’re going to crush whatever 15 we play and make them wish they hadn’t qualified. We’ve got a bunch of bosses on this team. S16 or bust.

I think Ambrose-Hylton is going to be a good player for us.

Would be disappointed if he got lost in the numbers game shuffle.

KAH will definitely be a piece moving forward. His length, strength and athleticism are huge in our system. And he's got a nice jumper - would be shocked if he isn't pick and popping soon.

There isn't a dude on this team who I feel like can't be a contributor on a competitive P-6 roster. Maybe not right now, but at some point in the next year or two.

We've won 8 SEC games.

We didn't win our 8th SEC game last year until February 29th (yes it was a leap year).

We didn't win our 8th SEC game in 2018 until February 26th.

He’s also important to roster management. He’s got 4 years written all over him. And he looks like the type of guy who’ll be a good player and a leader for us as a junior/senior.

Missed the game family emergency, going to watch it on YouTube in the morning. Was keeping up with it on my ticker but wasn't sure if Mississippi st was fighting hard or we had poor shooting night.
