Dan Mullen vs UGA/Smart: 3 Games, 3 season lows in yards, and 2 season lows in points

Obviously could just be written off as Kirby Smart has a good defense, sure. But here's how it breaks down.
2017 (MSU): Averaged 32 points/game and 418 yards/game // Georgia allowed 3 points and 280 yards. (Both season lows for Mullen)
2018: Averaged 35 and 426 // Georgia allowed 17 and 275 (Season low in yards)
2019: Averaged 33 and 430 // Georgia allowed 17 and 278 (Both season lows)
It's not just lows. Mullen is producing only 51.2 percent of the points he normally does and 64.6 percent of the yards. As a matter of fact, in those 3 years, only 7 teams have held Mullen to less than 20 points. UGA was 3 of those. Something to that schematically? Maybe.
The same type of performance would yield Florida 21 points and 309 yards based on their averages.
To be fair, with a reeling UGA defense with some key injuries, this number could definitely be more. This UF offense does seem just a bit more explosive than UGA has been used to seeing in Jacksonville.
I think if UF hits enough explosive plays and creates mismatches with Toney and Pitts, they score 30 at least. Is that enough? With Bennett and co., probably.
UGA will no doubt try to play almost a 1:1 recreation of last year's WLOCP. Keep away from Trask with the running game, shorten the game and reduce the amount of possessions by UF, limit the big play, and win 3rd down. UGA at times have already struggled with big plays in the passing game at full strength, let alone without LeCounte and with Cine and Stevenson questionable.
Gonna be a good one.

Fromm was dog shite last year and we still won in Actionville.
Can't wait to do it with a walk-on.
And I am looking forward to the "muh suspensions" excuses on Sunday.

Trask on different level
Toney too. Pitts, Cope, Grimes
Gonna take a couple turnovers prob a lot of batted balls at the line
While Trask steps up hopefully. Not his 5th start this yr.
Also like our RBs. Pierce, Davis, Wright. Running on yall will not be easy gonna have to come out ready to kill ya lol 3 game streak anger shite ok

You do realize the opt outs at UF are coming after a loss right? Like a lot.

2 players was just suspended for the first half of the game the last news I heard on it. If that’s all the SEC was going to do I don’t know why they bothered at all tbh.

That'll be part of the excuses regardless.

Fromm was coming off a 35 yard performance vs Kentucky and then put up 250 and 2 TDs vs UF, fwiw.
He was not that good last year. But against Florida he was.
Stet can be good enough as long as he’s put in the right position with the running game setting the table for opportunistic PA plays.
Edit: are you really bragging about shutting down Zeus and Cook when they only had 1 rush a piece last year?

The defense, for whatever reasonhas stepped up their game against Mullen and then Florida the past 2-3 years.
It'll be a bit tougher with the hurt/dinged up players this year, though. I am hoping he can pull something out of his hat to keep Trask/Pitts at bay.

FWIW... Pitts terrifies me. Afraid he'll be free all afternoon. Too big to be covered by a DB, too fast to be covered by a LB...

This year UGA has a walk on at QB and multiple injuries on D. If Mullen can’t beat smart this year, I doubt he’ll be able to.
