It isn't because of the fact that he is purging his players. It's shite like the bandwagon photo. He is too erratic. When you follow something like that up with two straight embarrassing losses and then have to purge your players two weeks later, you look like a fool.
It's because when he goes into interviews he pretends to be a pirate and says shite like, "Arrgg! Where's the booty?!" and while funny, it shows a lack of professionalism. A lack of professionalism that leads to shite like posting bandwagon photos and then purging your team two weeks later.
He has a propensity for letting his mouth get him in trouble and then the audacity to turn around and sue the university that employs him while he embarrasses that school on the daily.
Everyone has passed him up because he acts like a fricking idiot. A "learned" moron.

Couldn't have said it better. Leach is entertaining af. I love it when your school hires him but would hate tf out of it if we hired him.

I thought we fricked up not interviewing him before we hired Gus in 2012 after seeing the LSU game. Now I'm glad we didn't.

He’s the type of guy you want to see coaching at another school because of the occasional laugh, but you want that shite show nowhere near yours

The bandwagon photo was idiotic, but is he really the first college football coach ever to "clean house" when people weren't getting with his program?
Because he has the right to do this the way he wants to do it. State granted him that when they signed him to coach/run their program. If he messes up, then by all means fire his arse, but again he ain't the first coach to run people off (if he even does it) when they wouldn't buy in.
Them beating LSU out of the gate was the worst thing that could've happened.

Leach’s Air RAID is like Windows XP....it was a good system but is obsolete and no longer compatible with current defenses.
And before you point out what they did to LSU....remember LSU is running old software with Pelini.

Lots of schools passed on him because they are a bunch of liberal pussies. Anyone who knows anything knows Craig James and his family are trash. Everyone around Celina, Texas knows it. Leach has been successful at every stop and will be at State if they give him a chance.

Those of us who know anything about him recognize he can be a loose cannon who often shows an unprofessional side.
The rest of the kids around here who know nothing about him—apart from sound bites from press conferences—think ... dude, he’s “awesome” and “funny.”
I hope he works out for State.
I just never saw it as a good fit.
Time will tell.

Pretty sure the bandwagon thing wasn’t Leach’s idea it was the PR people in the athletic Dept. that did that one

Mike Leach is a great coach. Let him get some better players on both sides of ball and maybe a killer DC, and he will be a handful. He's only 3 games in. There will be plenty of big time receivers that will want to play for him, and now that he's in the South, it will make it easy on him to getting key players.
