How/why did auburn suck so bad?

I mean... wow. Absolutely pathetic on all levels. Really tho, how does Gus achieve that level of suck? It’s honestly impressive. Can go from looking pretty good, having plenty of talent, and play a game like that. Unfortunately it happens every year.

The issue is.. Kentucky was overrated. Arkansas appears to have been underrated. So Georgia’s slow start vs them looked really bad compared to what Auburn did to Kentucky.

If you look at the box score of the UK game, UK won in just about every category except turnovers. I think it's just a down year for Auburn. Luckily this year doesn't really matter.

Didn't Auburn replace essentially their entire OL & DL?
Bo didn't have time to drop back, and even when he did - he had happy feet because he was expecting pressure. Running game was non-existent as well. Additionally, it was pretty obvious that Auburn's DL was undersized and overmatched from the get go.

Auburn got beat at the LOS. They have the other pieces. Fix that they will be good. Of course Auburn fans already know this.
Also note that Nix is taking a lot of heat. I think a lot is unwarranted. Kid was running for his life last night.

Yea we did. But we are supposed to reload, not be completely devoid of talent after losing people. Every team loses players every year.

There’s enough blame to go around. I’ve defended Nix a lot but he looked like shite too. He was way off on a lot of passes. Getting pressured is part of the game.
