These were two really bad quarters of football by both teams (especially on offense). All joking aside, both teams have a lot of work to do. Enjoyed the game, enjoyed the banter, but I think this coming weekend will be more telling about the current state of the program.

I think it’s evident that MSU has better prepared athletes.

I was so happy we were down by so little at the half.

We got pushed around. But Costello was getting pressured by Gaye all game and came away with 600. Damn.

That QB of yours is special and I have a feeling MSU will have a fun year.

This may be the snake-bit State fan in me, but I have a bad feeling about Saturday. Feleipe Franks is a much more proven commodity than Myles Brennan.

When I re-watched I saw Fred Peters, a guy who should have been one of our biggest strengths in the secondary, get beat on two really poorly thrown jump balls.

Esaias Furdge was burnt like toast on that interception where Brennan's arm got hit.

Leach is a great playcaller but everyone knew that already.
He is going to find mismatches but yeah how does MSU respond against a team like Ark that is should beat really bad. He will be bowl eligible every year at MSU and may even run off a 10 win season if Saban would ever retire.

With that said, Brennan missed some wide open WR's and on the int that was tipped McMath was wide open and it would have been 7.

MSU defense still has a long ways to go but the offense will keep them in most games.

SEC West will be even tougher when you have to play really good play callers like Leach and Kiffin. Not to mention you know Pittman is going to have the Hogs play really tough hard nosed football.

The D coordinator led the country in rush yards allowed for a reason.

I was blown away by State's WR corps being as good as they were.

State's secondary played better early than i thought they would. I know Myles couldnt decide shite but they played well.

Funny enough I re-watched some of the game Sat night because A&M looked so shitty.

I can't imagine how frustrating it was for LSU fans watching receivers consistently get behind the dbacks. They knew it was coming but it just kept happening over and over. They have the athletes so it was just a strange game.
