He is a good player. He got passed by a true freshman last season (who is out starter this season).
Ok, so he isn't GOOD enough to start at Uga.

Good has nothing to do with a transfer within the conference.
So again, why did Kirby BLOCK his transfer? Without Kirby's action against him, he would be playing. Seems to me Kirby is the one that is displaying immature behavior.

Is this that hard to understand? You cannot set a precedent by allowing in-conference free agency. Otis and Cade could have gone to any number of schools and received no opposition. But, they transferred in conference (Cade, in division).
Let's see what you say when an LSU player transfers to Auburn or Bama.

A couple reasons:
1. Reese makes a conference opponent a potentially more formidable opponent.
2. Him being granted immediate eligibility is potentially precedent for the same being granted to Cade Mays, who is transferring to a division opponent and is a more impactful player.
I don’t think it should be up to the coaches to sign-off on transfers, but Smart is using the tools at his disposal to protect Georgia’s interests.

Kirby can’t block him. Not his decision. This should be clear because Kirby has advocated for other players who weren’t granted eligibility. But I’d suspect Reese being a dick didn’t help.
