In a tweeted response to news earlier today that Big10 officials were working on a football schedule that could have teams playing in January:
"Good to see that the terrible myocarditis risk that prevents games from starting September 26 will vanish by early January."

The myocarditis shite was just a dumb Hail Mary that went like this one:

Also, don't start in August when it is hot because of a virus. Start in January during the peak cold/flu season.

They don’t really think they can/will play in the winter or spring. They just want to make everybody think they will so other conferences will be pressured to cancel their fall seasons. B1G is terrified to be left behind if other conferences play this fall.

The big ten and the PAC, which always follows them, jumped the gun on this cancellation. The season can be cancelled at any time, if conditions warrant such action. They both cancelled way too early. The big ten did not expect this reaction they have received from their fanbase and their players.
Twitter world has rumors that the big ten would love to reverse course but they would receive even more heat if they did that. So there they sit, they cancelled their season, pissed off their fans and players but they can always blame the SEC.

This is a legitimate question, and I'd love to see an official response as to how football or any event could move forward if that was their legitimate concern.
This year we shut down in March, right?
Are they claiming to be waiting on a foolproof vaccine? What if that doesn't pan out by then, or even in time for next season?

November games are cold enough that only liquor keeps me staying the game. I'm no weatherman but February is much colder than November. Maybe I'll go to the last game in March in the 8 game season. What a joke.
