I've said for years we need to go to the Big 12. The SEC doesn't give a shite about us. The Big 12 would love to have us, we'd have closer games, old rivals and a conference that actually cares about basketball.

If we're competitive for at least a quarter I will have more fun watching us play Georgia/Florida than I would have watching us play coastal Carolina

Yeah call me whatever you want but I wouldn’t shed a tear if college football got cancelled this season. Possible winless season for the Hogs with this schedule.

This was all about getting a second playoff team. They needed another guaranteed win for uga and Florida.
Sense it’s clear that protecting front runners is a real thing it makes you wonder about the questionable calls we get against us when we’re about to beat one of the big boys.

As long as we don’t get UGA on the schedule next year when we should be better I’m fine with it. We were going to suck this year regardless

100% guarantee they’ll be on it next year. As Sankey said, this is a one year anomaly and we’ll be back to the normal schedule next year which is UGA for us.

The issue is perception in recruiting. 0-10 is going to kill any sort of momentum Pittman might have generated at this point. We needed those OOC rent a wins and a Vandy or South Carolina to possibly boost our win total and head in to the next class with momentum.

So recruits would be jumping at the chance to play for a 4-8 team but not an 0-10 team? We still have winnable games against the Mississippi schools and Missouri. I just don’t think beating ULM or Charleston Southern would have moved the needle much.

Just depends how we look in each game to me. If we lose to Georgia and Florida by only like 14 that shows just as much progress to me as beating cupcakes

0-10 is still 0-10...no matter how close we play anybody. Thats a goldmine for negative recruiting.
How Arkansas let the sec office do this to us is beyond reproach. New-ish AD, new HC, yeah, lets frick em.
I let's just hope the season doesn't get played now. HY better schedule 4 1-AA teams next year. Tell the sec to F-off. You screwed us this year, we're doing what we want next year.

I think he’s basically saying we’re going to be good again some day and thank god Chad Morris is gone. Just thought it was interesting to see Scoota call him out like that in public. They really did not like that guy.
