ok rank the SEC coaches 1-12.
tell y u put them there if u want.
12. Does Vandy have a coach?
11. Ron Brooks. One decent year and thats it.
10. Houston Nutt. New place is guna get the same old results.
9. Sylvester Croom. Im guna need to start seeing some improvement.
8. Phillip Fullmer. WHAT HAVE U DONE FOR ME LATELY!!
7. Bobby Petrino. I cant stand this guy. He will probly bail on his team midway through the season.
6. Mark Rict. Gotta have a national championship to be at the top.
5. Tommy Tubberville. A solid coach wih an undefeated season under his belt.
4. Nick Saban. Another trip to the indy bowl and he drops down.
3. Steve Spurrier. One of the greatest coaches of all time.
2. Le Miles. Picked up where Saban left of and then some.
1. Urban Meyer. Give him the slight edge over Miles. Basically a toss up.
ok so how do u rate them.
(i think the coach who gets to 2 national championships first, could be rated #1. right now to me its a tight race with the top 4-5)

Bobby Johnson is vastly underrated IMO.

Johnson has done well there, for what he has to work with.

Poor Vandy coach (probably not the 12th worst coach, but where else can you put him? REally the reason why a coaches poll ranking is meaningless. Very subjective and cannot really be based on w's and l's.

Are we talking actual coaching ability or wins and championships?

And hell, he was at Ole Miss and Auburn. The man consistently takes off a "top" program every year (LSU, Florida, Tennessee, or Georgia). He is a great coach. For the most part, his teams are always ready to play.

He frowns upon the use of profanity. He would have an aneurism if he had to be in TS 7 Saturdays a season.

Last SEC coach to have an undefeated season. It really isn't Tubby's fault he didn't get a national title that year. He and Auburn did all they could do.

I think Tubbs is vastly under-rated, and if he were at a school with the talent of LSU or Florida, then he would be winning national championships on a regular basis.

If he couldn't win it with these guys, i doubt he would be able to win on a regular basis with anyone's talent.
