Which would be close to the average amount of a sentence people in Texas serve(58%).
But again you are just making things up.

Yes. me, as in any non Leo. LEO’s get to play by an entirely different set of rules. Youd think we’d hold those in power to greater standards rather than none at all.
I'm pretty sure that depends on many factors.

Again MILLIONS of interactions on a yearly basis yet you bring up one more. Like I said there would be multiple interactions like this every month in numerous cities across the country. If this were true you would could easily pull up a dozens of stories of unarmed black men being killed after being subdued so far this year.

That seems to be more of an unfortunate accident than anything.

She said before she even went inside, she made up her mind outside the door that she was going to kill the threat," Juror 34 said.
Guyger, who is white, was off-duty but in uniform when she mistakenly entered Jean's unit Sept. 6, 2018, after a long shift at work. He lived directly one floor above her. She believed Jean was a burglar and shot him in the chest, saying she killed him in self-defense.

I think I saw something similar awhile back where SWAT killed someone in the wrong house.
That one depends. If it’s because SWAT went to the wrong house due to their own incompetence, then they should be held accountable. If it’s because they got “SWATTED” then the person who made the false claim should be held accountable. Pretty sure that’s happened honestly.
Yep, swatting incident

Very concise and salient article on the subject LINK /

This narrative is false. In reality, a randomly selected black man is overwhelmingly unlikely to be victim of police violence — and though white men experience such violence even less often, the disparity is consistent with the racial gap in violent crime, suggesting that the role of racial bias is small. The media’s acceptance of the false narrative poisons the relations between law enforcement and black communities throughout the country and results in violent protests that destroy property and sometimes even claim lives. Perhaps even more importantly, the narrative distracts from far more serious problems that black Americans face.

It must be exhausting finding excuses for all of these dirty cops

What did the cops do that you'd consider "dirty" in that case?

Not worried about myself, just dont want you to get your blood pressure up over a post on the internet. Things to say about what? Did you think we were actually debating or something? You are just rambling about the cops being racist.

What did the cops do wrong in a no-knock raid in unmarked vehicles and plain clothes with no bodycams?
Yeah you got me there. Got nothing.
Yeah you got me there. Got nothing.

None of that is "dirty" and is completely lawful.
Not smart, but it still seems to just be an unfortunate accident.
Not sure why you've consistently tried to make this a racial issue in this thread with the references to Dylan Roof and all.

I brought him up once as an extreme example of the way detained individuals are treated. You can say they’re unrelated but they aren’t.
A “no-knock raid” is asking to get shot. Would you not agree?

They are completely unrelated. It goes both ways. Plenty of unarmed whites are killed and you never hear about it because it doesnt fit the narrative.

Not smart at all. Killings happen frequently in those situations.

None of that is "dirty" and is completely lawful.
No-knock raids are "completely lawful" only to absolute boot-lickers.
I'd argue they go not only against the constitution, but also our 'self-evident' fundamental right to life.
If you buy into castle doctrines and the 2nd amendment, then you fundamentally can not buy into no-knock warrants/raids. They are incompatible.
If someone breaking into your house is enough justification to legally respond with lethal force, then no state actor should be legally breaking into someone's house unannounced.

Probably so.
My point is that the cops didn't break the law as it stands currently.

No one is defending dirty cops, people are calling bs on contrived narrative of black men being hunted by racist cops on a daily basis. Not that hard

Its sad that all of the innocent small business owners and citizens are being harmed by something they had no involvement in.
Some will lose their businesses forever because of this.

It may not be daily, but it certainly is weekly.
If you can't see the problem then you just have your head buried in the sand.
Hell, even most white dudes have been harassed or mistreated by shitty cops. Now just imagine that harassment happening regularly and there being no possible repercussions involved. That's the problem.
The law enforcement in this country is absolutely sub-par, and something needs to be done to fix it, or we'll just be having this discussion again about a different incident in a few weeks.

That's way too low of a standard for law enforcement officers.
If they don't understand our country's core principles and idealogies, then they shouldn't be entrusted to enforce any laws.
Being 'legal' doesn't make something okay.
Any police department that uses no-knock warrants are bad. They don't have to make use of them just because they are "legal". That choice is completely on them.
