His buddy was a millionaire also.

I can't think of two bigger idiots. I'm assuming their contracts will be voided with cause and they'll get no more money. I wonder if they'll have to give any money back to their teams for being such dumbasses?

Baker was the 30th overall pick in the 2019 draft, a player the Giants traded up to acquire. As the first cornerback off the board, he would go on to sign a four-year, $10.525 million contract with a $5.6 million signing bonus.
His buddy was a millionaire also.

Quinton Dunbar signed a three year, $10.5 million contract with the Redskins on January 1, 2018. Dunbar was scheduled to be a restricted free agent at the time of the signing. Dunbar received a signing bonus of $3 million and also has his 2018 base salary guaranteed. Another $1.5 million is guaranteed for injury bringing the total guarantee to $5.25 million. Dunbar has yearly roster bonuses of $250,000 in 2019 and 2020.

It's on a lesser scale but this reminds me of a time I saw a dumb bastard lose a 17 dollar an hour job over an 80 cent piece of breakfast steak, and this was back in the mid 1980's and 17 bucks an hour at that time was pretty good.
The plant this happened at had a cafeteria and the dumb fool tried to hide the steak under some grits. The lady at the counter tried to give him an out, she told him she knew there was a steak in the grits, he denied it, she told the plant manager and he was fired.
I know it's not armed robbery but that was an incredibly stupid thing to do.

He's still a pretty talented player. We'll see if anyone takes a chance on him when it's all cleared.
That said, he's dumbass and deserves whatever he gets.

Yep. Two multi millionaires robbing people that knew who they were and called the police immediately. It just doesn't get much dumber than that. That's bad.
