Interesting comparisons
Both same height and similar weight
Can Jamar catch Cooper’s production in his 3rd season?
He currently needs just shy of 1400 yards this season to do so.
With a step back in the qb position and coaching staff this will be a difficult task

Chase has a long way to go to be in the same league as Cooper.

He talked about LSU just as much in the OP. I expect this level of insecurity from other LSU posters but not you.

Chase is better. Biletnikoff/unanimous AA as a sophmore.

Amari did what he did with Blake Sims as Quarterback. Chase got 300 yards in the year that his QB play was average

Solid post.
Chase is a great player, but I think he’ll be handicapped by all the inexperienced players around him - qb, o-line, rb, rb pass pro, etc.
Not to mention the absence of Brady.
Those are some serious issues to overcome.

You must have been born in the northeast, somewhere but claim Texas as home.

Your hate is so strong for LSU; you would rather have a big crimson elephant dick in your mouth!

Some parallels, but also some very different situations as well.
LSU threw way more this season than Alabama did in any season Cooper played; however, Cooper was the primary target all 3 seasons while Chase was not.
Both are excellent athletes. Cooper is one of the best route runners ever, but I think Chase probably has a higher vertical leap and is better at jump balls.
Considering Chase is going to be the #1 WR in an offense still dedicated to the spread and RPO, while Cooper only had one season in a spread offense (2014), I think Chase will get enough yards presuming no injury and presuming that some other issue doesn't hamper LSU's passing attack.

The Monta Ellis of college wide receivers. All volume. Nothing spectacular.
Chase trumped everything Cooper did in his best season on 40 fewer receptions.

His commitment to everything Bama is commendable. I don't know why he doesn't just change his favorite team logo and start being honest with himself.

Imagine your family searching your name on Google and everything that comes up is related to racism and poor dental hygiene.

Yeah I agree. Cooper is elite and did his work with a converted RB throwing to him and no other great receivers to draw coverage.
Chase had Burrow throwing to him plus two other really good receivers.

He can't even put his employer on his LinkedIn, in fear that someone will contact said employer regarding his racist habits.
