Yes, I think we can all attest to the legitimacy of this list by agreeing that Boise State is the best team in college football.

It just shows LSU has the biggest accomplishment. The teams in front of them play weak schedules to have their records. LSU plays a brutal schedule and is still 4th.

the counter argument is it is easier to recruit in the south at the big universities so it isn't really a big accomplishment to win a lot.
Winning a lot at Boise State and App State and Oregon is more imppressive in my view.

I'm surprised Clemson made the list for the past 20 years. Last 10 years I would have thought but not past 20 b/c some tough years in the 90s with Tommy West.

Of all of the dumb shite Clemson fans have said on here, this is way up there on the list. There are tons of schools in the south competing against each other making it difficult to be better than those teams.

there's enough to go around obviously if SEC is by far the best conference as ya'll claim.
ya'll ask Uconn how easy it is to recruit football. lol
Both Boise St and Oregon are really isolated schools in areas with few black kids. Oregon is knowing for dreary rainy weather.
I'm assuming Oregon has leveraged their association with Nike in recruiting.

They aren't in the south.
If recruiting the south is so easy why aren't the ACC and Big 12 dominating more? What about the teams in the PAC12 South?

ACC has 4 colleges located near each other in NC with App State and East Carolina getting a lot of good in state talent as well. obviously Clemson, SC, Va Tech etc poach a lot of NC recruits too.
Who is LSU competting against in state. lol you don't have 1 state rival.
SEC has 4 universities who have no P5 public university rival in their state, LSU, Arkansas, Mizzo and Tenn.
So ya'll got the one program state advantage coupled with benefit of being in the south.
my view is if you only big program in your state, there should be a penalty in the playoff committee's rankings. At least 1 spot lower penalty.

SEC with 3 of the 10.
And only one without a NC during that time, much less multiple.

Move the goalposts much?
This wasn't anything close to your statement. You said recruiting the south was easy and LMAO at recruiting vs App State and East Carolina. LSU has ULL and ULM too then.

i said ECU and App State in addition to 4 ACC schools in the same state.
if you don't think that cannibalizes the NC programs, u a fool
part of reason FSU, FLorida, Miami have had tough seasons in recent years is the emergence of UCF, USF and other Florida colleges that dilute the in state talent.

So neighboring states count for ACC schools, but not SEC schools? You're a clown.
