Have confirmed Nick Weatherspoon won’t return to MSU next season. Taking a similar route as Lamar Peters took last year I’m told. So this isn’t a testing-the-waters thing. He’s gone. If Woodard sticks in the draft, MSU has lost all its top 4 scorers.
> Reggie Perry (17.6 PPG) - NBA Draft (little chance to return)
> Tyson Carter (13.9 PPG) - graduated
> Robert Woodard (11.4 PPG) - NBA Draft ("I don't look at it as testing the waters. I am all in with this thing.")
> Nick Weatherspoon (11.6 PPG) - NBA Draft ("He's gone")
Yikes

Everyone knows year 3 is where Howland makes the big jump with his teams and takes off with success.

That loss last year to Liberty is really going to cost him. He had a chance to really build up some creditably with a strong tournament performance last year.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

3 of the 4 I was expecting to be gone. I am curious though, with the season being cut short, if you were a junior with a shot at the NBA would the odds be better to go this year or wait till next year? I expect there will be more return players this year than normal, but I could be mistaken. Just curious what the experts are saying.

From the little that I have heard on this, others are expecting the same. There will be very little pre-draft opportunities for players to evaluated from, if any at all other than college tape.

11 players have left the program.

The only one with a chance of coming back is Woodard.

Yeah but there is still that 10% chance unlike the others since he didn't sign with an agent. You can come back after declaring now. Which makes MBB kinda dumb when 500 players declare and 300 come back

Wow, that Leech tweet is affecting other sports!
That was a joke for people who can't figure it out.

What did we do in year 3? I can't remember.
