As a Kentucky fan I have certain expectations. Win 7-9 games per year consistently, upset somebody who you shouldn't, and once in a decade make it to the SEC championship. Is that too much to ask?

No, it is very reasonable and Stoops has done a nice job and hit your targets.

Other programs consider that mediocre and fire their coaches for it.

I would like to see y'all in it at least once. Even USCe and Arkansas have been at least once.

I don't think so, but the key is upsetting two out of three with Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia in one season to win the East. You'd also have to sweep the rest of your East opponents, and probably beat State, too. It's difficult to do, but I could see Stoops getting it done if he continues to perform well at Kentucky.

Missouri and USCjr capitalized on a weak SEC East back in the early '10s. If they could do it, I don't see why Kentucky can't. I would be more confident in Kentucky winning the East someday if Tennessee wasn't your kryptonite.
