Auburn signee, named Arkansas player of the year and first team ALL-STATE. Averaged 18 ppg and 16 rpg in the state playoffs. Beast.

I have family from west Memphis. They say he is ovwrrated

Well, you might want to tell the state of Arkansas and the state High School Association that, because they just voted for him to represent them as the best player in the state or the player that had the best individual basketball season this year. But I’m sure family knows more than all of them.

Looks like a great pick up. 3 star player offered by Auburn, Ark, Memphis, Iowa State, Ole Miss, SMU, and Southern Miss.

Thanks. I feel Bruce Pearl has an eye for talent and recruits guys that are a great fit for his system. It seems as though it is guys that can do 1 or 2 things extremely well but not exactly well rounded and once he brings them on campus, can coach them into being a better all-around player.

Jaylin Williams says hello

He had a great year as well. Made first team All-State also. Most likely finished 2nd or 3rd in voting behind Chris Moore. Good player.

Williams. Gatorade player of the year number one rated player in the state of Arkansas

Cool. Good for him. Maybe you should start a thread about it..

Jesus how many POY year awards are there. Two different Arkansas signees have won a Arkansas POY award too.
But Moore is a tweener so he’ll take a couple years go get going in college

Then he is not #1 player in Arkansas. What you trying to pull?

MaxPreps, in partnership with the AHSAA or AAA, votes on and rewards the state player of the year(which there is only one), first team, second team and third team All-State teams. Chris Moore was awarded Arkansas state player of the year. I’m sorry if that is hard for you to understand.

There are two, the official Arkansas state player of the year and Gatorade state player of the year. A small local newspaper might award a hometown kid state player of the year but it doesn’t carry as much weight as the official state award.

Eh, there is a newspaper one that covers the whole state as well.
Chris Moore
Jaylin Williams
Davonte Davis
All of the above won one of the awards

Pearl loves him and chose him over some higher ranked players but if your family says he's overrated....

Good get for Auburn. Good player with a nose for the ball. However at what 6'6-6'7 PF in high school. He is for sure a "tweener."

He is a perfect fit for us and Bruce will use his talents extremely well. Some of our best players of all-time have been undersized power forwards.
