craziest college football rumors youve heard?

as we wait for the virus peak to come in the next 6-8 weeks (April/May) and cases to drop
What are some of the craziest college football rumors you've heard over the years? two I remember are
1.2008 - about a week before we hired Chizik someone called into Sportscall (a local talkshow in Auburn) and said we were about to hire Jackie Sherill as the next HC caller said he had already "agreed in principal PTB was just giving him time to select his OC and DC before making it official"
I was heading to a movie that night when the caller called in and I sat there thinking did "he just say that?"
2. 2011 - this was from Aufamily/Auburn Eagle or whatever its called now! one side was saying Auburn had scheduled a home and home with Oklahoma! another side was saying Auburn had scheduled a home and home with Nebraska! and that it would be announced after the Utah State game!
they all looked like idiots when it wasn't announced

For an LSU fan, it has to be the Les Miles secret bachelor pad for me. Don’t know if it’s true or not but apparently he hooked up with coeds in a secret apartment.

Urban heading to Penn St. Then the Sandusky scandal broke and went to OSU instead. Bought a house 30 minutes from campus.

Skip has confirmed many times that Les had an apartment on the north side of campus and thats where he spoke with Arkansas.

There was a rumor (mostly circulated by fans of a school associated with urination) that Nick Fitzgerald was gay. Judging by Twitter, he's had a few girlfriends, so I have no idea where this rumor came from or why it started. Weird Ole Miss fans I guess.
Not "crazy" in the 'interesting' sense, but it was crazy that it even existed and seemed to be so persistent. I even overheard an Ole Miss fan talking about on a plane at one point. Not even sure why anyone cared.
