Crean and Pearl inherited very different programs
Mark Fox was competent. Low ceiling, but competent. Tony Barbee was not competent.

I mean, Bruce took over the dumpster fires of all dumpster fires from Tony Barbee. Mark Fox was okay. Crean deserves a couple more years, but another losing SEC record next year is going to turn that pressure up

Succeeding at those programs in no way guarantees success at a historically shitty program like UGA

Meh. We were never going to make the tournament. We won 2 SEC games last year and 9/13 of our players are freshman. It’s always been a 3-4 year rebuild.

Just based off what I saw at Indiana he's good when he has a star player to carry him and the team respects him. That did not happen in his final years in Indiana. He lost control of those teams.
Fox is a better coach but Crean is a better recruiter.

Probably but we are developing a talented young core who could be really solid in 2-3 years.
Don’t forget we have 6-11 Rodney Howard. Hopefully he can develop.
