.some 53 spots above Tua.

Know who else was higher than Tua ? Brock Berlin. Even higher than Young. Russell Shepard. Yep, higher than Tua. Xavier Lee. Yep, higher than Tua. Mitch Mustain. Yep, higher than Tua. Shea Patterson. Yep, higher than Tua. Kyle Wright. Yep, higher than Tua.

But Young is a guarantee huh ? Tua was a special player. Young isn't walking on the field at Bama, a star. In fact he's never thrown a single pass in a college game. You know considerably more about Jones than you do Young.

Yet, people are acting like it’s some longshot for Young to beat out a former 3-star recruit who cost us the iron bowl last year, and barely beat Michigan.
I think Bryce Young should be the odds on favorite to win the job.

Bama fans need to make up their minds. When people talk about returning SEC QBs you guys lose your minds if Mac isn’t 1st or 2nd on the list.

Today, he’s just a 3* scrub who’s going to get supplanted by a true freshman.

You pretty much proved your argument against yourself.

All those names you just listed just proves they had a lower ceiling than Tua.

You can add another name.
Jalen Hurts...who beat out Tua for the job in 2017

Bryce Young's beginning spot, his floor, is several floors higher than Tua's. Which is what recruiting rankings measure. How skilled and talented they are coming out of high school.

Time will tell if his ceiling will be as high.

But Young is better out of high school than Tua was, and people who were at practice in 2017 thought he should have started.

So Bryce Young has a lower ceiling than Tua? Got it.

The only thing it actually proves is recruiting rankings don’t prove anything when it comes to actual production in college.

Hopefully Kirby is prepared for him after Mac Jones is inevitably pulled from the game.

Kirby might give him a full ride at Georgia the next Saturday.

He and Hurts are the only two QBs truly used as duel threats.

You fricking looked up Bryce Youngs HS offensive line?
Obsessed much?

Speaking of linemen over 6’6”, Alabama only has one, and he’s a tackle. Check out Bryce Young’s highlights at the allstar game. Pretty sure he was playing behind a college blue-chip oline, against a blue chip defense

I like to do research prior to making statements.

I'm sure its a foreign concept to you based off of your reaction.

So a high school allstar game right?

Considering they were all 4 and 5 star recruits, more talented than a lot of college teams

Sounds like those people that think Alabama could beat the Bengals.

Alabama COULD beat the Bengals if Bryce Young was the starting QB

But no, it would be like if you assembled a football team of the best players from the NFL draft. I think that team would definitely be competitive in the NFL
