Let’s just call Auburn Arena “The Oyster” and be done with it. Lifetime contract, too. Except not joking about lifetime contract.

I also think Marsh is deserving of a statue.

Absolutely. While we’re at it, Mel Rosen too. I can dream, can’t I?

Saw a tweet about Ruthie Bolton. We had some of the greatest female players ever. Do you add them? I would Ruthie and Vicki, just curious of other opinions

I have mixed feelings about this

It definitely feels like this is posturing for the Bruce statue, which tbh I’m all for

But honestly, how do we decide who gets one? It’s hard to argue with the Heismans + Heisman + Chuck, but Marsh is a good example of someone who will never get one yet probably deserves it over some others who might end up with one

Idk

Will the Wade Christopher statue be more or less than fifty feet tall?

It’s possible Marsh could get one outside the aquatic center in 10-15 years. As different and a younger generation slides into leadership positions, those hard feelings will be gone.

I'm not a fan of statues in general.
