Great addition IMO. If he's a typical Tongan football player he'll be all effort and a great teammate.

Probably half the University of Utah's roster is made up of Pacific Islanders, particularly the OL and DL. Really great athletes for their size, very competitive as a culture, and most importantly are great teammates. I always hoped that AU would tap into this, and perhaps Harsin will since he's from Boise.

Well then Boise is the suburbs, my friend. And I hope Harsin brings that to AU. If we start to get some ?Polynesians at AU then watch out, and giddy up. I'll take an OL/DL 3-star Pacific Islander over a 5-star anyone.

Truthfully I've never understood why a bunch of top recruits don't get together and decide to play somewhere like Hawaii. Obviously travel is an issue, but you would be spending 3-5 years living in Hawaii for free. Easy trade to me.

I'm not going to lie, if I was a mid 3 star guy with offers from Arkansas, Miss State, or schools like that I would send my film to Hawaii

He's actually Samoan not Tongan, but the premise is the same. Its the same island chain in the Pacific, with similar if not more successes in football. The one thing that really stands out to me with Utah and Whittingham is that he always maintains a great culture in his football program. Harsin talks about that quite a bit as well, and listening to that AU OL who played for both Malzahn and Harsin it would seem to be a great emphasis for Harsin.

Hawaiians are pretty prejudiced towards any Haole would be the only drawback. I think I would do my best to deal with it though.

Hints on Twitter that we might get a '22 QB commit tomorrow. Here's hoping for a good week.

Also some increased confidence Auburn has a good shot with #1 JUCO OT Jordan Moko

Huge pickup in the late cycle. We’ve bitched about no 4 or 5 star OTs. Just picked one up. Yes I’m aware he’s a lower 4 star but keep grinding coaches.

Harsin appears to have his own version of the "BOOM" Tweet for commits as well. And Uscher is also pretty active for these commits.

3* RB Jarquez Hunter won’t announce until Friday. All signs point to Auburn but the delay is interesting

We need Hunter and a transfer to go along with Tank and Worm.

Anything new on Brooks?

Also I think there was a UT RB commit that was doing the #freeme thing too ...
