Was LSU's championship a flash in the pan season like the Cam Newton team? QBs that took the team to the win the NC.

Being serious. As an unbiased onlooker, Burrow WAS this team the same as Cam WAS the 2010 Auburn team.

Impossible to replicate the following year.

There are many similarities. This team without Borrow drops 2 maybe three games. LSU has more overall talent than 2010 AU

Depends. Is Coach O similar to Gene Chizik?

There will be a drop off, but it will not be as precipitous as Auburn’s was.

Correct.

Incorrect. LSU had some video game type receivers and our defense peaked at the right moment in the latter half of the season.

And some of those receivers are still on the team. And Brennan is a very good and capable quarterback. And we have some absolute studs on defense and at RB.

This is your notice, SEC. 2020 LSU won't be 2019 LSU but we have gone nowhere.

Is LSU a little brother in his own State with an abusive stepfather nearby?

No.

Most likely LSU won't repeat in 2020 but the setup for AU and LSU aren't the same. LSU will make another run in the forseable future.

I agree. You're receivers were better than the 2010 receivers by a decent margin. LSU defense wasn't great. They allowed a lot of points, but did play great in spurts.

They are both CEO type head coaches right?

Chiz lost his team quickly. I can't see Coach O ever losing his team like Chiz did.

Cam was the lead passer and lead rusher. That's a big difference with Joe and the 2019 offense.

Yeah.. I wasn't really comparing their stats. I was comparing how they were responsible for putting the teams on their backs and getting wins every week.

Burrow was amazing, but the WR corps and OL were still really good.

I think LSU would have only dropped 2 regular season games without Burrow (Alabama and Auburn), and MAYBE Texas only because they were still getting everything ironed out. I still think they finish with no more than 3 losses.

2010 Auburn without Cam is probably an 8 win team. It's not quite the same.

LSU has been recruiting at a top 3-4 team for many years, so they still have a lot of talent. Auburn usually recruits closer to #10. That's good, but the depth isn't quite there.

It will be tougher for LSU now that they have lost Aranda and Brady. Pelini is a nice replacement, though, so they might not miss a beat on defense.

I would expect their defense to get better and their offense to take a small step back.

Let’s see if LSU fans are screaming for his ouster in two years.

Also, if O makes the team dress like this they are fricked.

Explain.

Don't just post something like this without backing it up.

Does LSU have a foursome willing to rob a trailer park for spice money?
