Oates is a good coach, Petty can shoot the shite out of it, Bama can crash the glass as well as we can, this is gonna be awesome

Should be a good game IF Alabama doesn't play the way it did versus Vandy and K State.

Nah we cannot
Hope we play well - LSU just finds ways to win.

We actually don’t crash the glass very well. We will have to take advantage of LSU’s poor 3 PT defense and do something Alabama is not particularly known for this century, shoot well in someone else’s gym.

This is a Tide team that averages 41.5 rebounds a game, the most in the SEC, but is sixth in the league on the offensive glass.

Is there a problem? Are you not glad to see me?

We get a lot more rebounds because we shoot a lot more shots due to pace (and generally our opponents do too).
We're about middle of the back in offensive rebounding - generally off of long rebounds from 3s.
We've been all over the map in defensive rebounding. Did a great job against Ms State, who has good bigs, but then got murdered by Kansas State on the glass. LSU is an elite offensive rebounding team, so that'll be huge for us tonight. Also aren't sure on the status of Javian Davis, one of our 2 bigs.

LSU’s had double-figure offensive rebounding games in each of the last seven games
We have been psychotic in offensive rebounding lately, but we have to be because we suck arse at shooting 3's.
We have basically been physically exhausting teams in the paint.
I just saw that Kansas State stat

I've had my heart broken too many times by Alabama basketball to ever assume the best. I take the wins happily and just presume we'll screw up something.
Losing that Florida game earlier in the season was all the justification I needed to temper all expectations.
